My client is a well-established global industrial manufacturer headquartered in Europe and continuing to expand its footprint across North America. As part of this growth, they are investing in their Bolingbrook facility and strengthening their quality organization. The site specializes in the production of injection-molded components for the solar and automotive markets. Job Description

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001
• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities within the injection molding process, including in-process inspections, first article inspections, and final audits.
• Analyze quality data (scrap, defects, customer complaints) to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and tooling teams to improve process capability, reduce variation, and enhance product quality.
• Oversee customer quality requirements, including PPAPs, control plans, FMEAs, and capability studies.
• Manage internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
• Lead and develop the quality team, including inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and drive resolution in a timely manner.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• 5+ years of quality experience within manufacturing
• Experience with injection molding processes
• Metrology experience (micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.)
• Sponsorship not provided
