Job Summary Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion - Aurora, CO Department: Endocrine Diabetes FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $32.01 - $49.62 per hour, dependent on relevant experience Summary Provides direct patient care, in a medical/physician office setting, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate; collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel; precept student nurses and new hires as needed. Apply critical thinking and judgment to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years experience; preferred Bachelor's in Nursing. Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) provider; additional certification as determined at position level. Experience: Minimum 6 months of nursing experience. Additional Certifications: BLS or CPR card from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid for 60 days of hire.
