Business Analyst - Emerging Technology & Innovation

Business Analyst – Emerging Technology & Innovation Location: Austin, TX 78752 | Rate: $45/hour on W2 | Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Create themes, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria according to agency standards. Convert existing use cases into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira. Analyze existing process documentation and identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Support the development and implementation of various initiatives across DPS. Collaborate with project and development teams to ensure requirements are accurate, complete, and aligned with agency goals. Required Experience: 4 years of experience in the field or a related technology field as a senior-level Business Analyst. 3 years of working knowledge of Agile project management methodology and practices. Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience in understanding and documentation of use cases. 1 year of experience in process documentation mapping.
