Surgical Technician (Surg Tech) - General Surgery

Surg Tech – Havasu Regional Medical Center Job Type: Full Time | Day shift. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. Sign‑On Bonus: $12,000 (3‑year commitment). Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by setting up instruments, equipment, sterile solutions, and supplies before procedures. Help prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and ensuring the surgical site is properly prepped. Maintain a sterile field at all times and uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique to prevent infection. Anticipate the surgeon's needs, passing instruments and supplies efficiently and safely throughout the procedure. Assist with tasks such as holding retractors, cutting sutures, handling specimens, and applying dressings as directed. Participate in pre‑ and post‑procedure counts, room turnover, cleaning, and restocking to keep cases running smoothly. Minimum of 1 year Surg Tech experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred: Experience with total joint procedures (hip, knee, shoulder), neuro‑spine, robotic cases for general surgery and OB, cystoscopies.
