An ideal concierge must have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience a memorable one. A sincere love of history and the culture of our city is helpful. Extend courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality.Give every guest the ultimate compliment of recognition and attention. Guide them to the best offerings based on their interest during their time in your city.Be knowledgeable and passionate about our products and the most popular things to do at each trolley stop.Be computer literate and keyboard/mouse proficient with a working knowledge of and ability to use various types of computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Utilize exceptional sales skills including a strong pitch, prospecting, handling objections, cross-selling, upselling, and closing the deal.Present the cost of tours and attractions based on the company's pricing system.Required knowledge, skills and abilitiesAccurately handle transactions and receipts from sales, secure and maintain ticket inventory and company assetsAbility to work independently within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guestsAbility to work well with all people while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanorAbility to read, write and speak fluent English to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general publicFlexibility to work 3-4 days/week from 7:30am – 6:00pm, including weekends and holidaysQualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent preferredCustomer service, sales, or information center experience preferredSuccessful candidate must undergo a background search
