ID: 63962766 Shift: 07:00-17:30 Description: Description:BILL RATE: $85SHIFT: DAYS, MON-THURS 7A-5:30PSummary:TheMagneticResonanceImaging(MRI)Technologistwillperformawidevarietyofroutineandadvancedimagingprocedures,willprovidesupportforotherimagingtechnologistsasneeded,andhelptofacilitatesmoothandefficientpatientflow.TheMRITechnologistwilldemonstrateflexibilitybyworkingothershiftsand/oratothercampusesasneededorrequired.TheTechnologistmustbeabletotroubleshootbasicmaintenance,participateinQA,andresolveissuesrelatedtoimageprocessingandtheimagearchivingsystem.Expectationtoparticipateinongoingeducation,safety,andtechnicaladvanceswithintheirscopeoflicensure.TheincumbentmustbeabletoprovidebasicMRIscreeningofpatientsandemployees,preparemaintenanceandrepairs,participateinQA,andresolveissuesrelatedtoMRIsafety.TheTechnologistwilladhereto,andmaintain,theexpectedimagingcompetenciesasoutlinedbymanagement.Behaviorandcommunicationskillsmustalignwiththeorganization'smission,values,andculture.Responsibilities:MeetsexpectationsoftheapplicableOneCHRISTUSCompetencies:LeaderofSelf,LeaderofOthers,orLeaderofLeaders.DemonstratesadherencetotheCoreValuesofCHRISTUSHealth.MaintainsconsistencywithAdministrativeandDepartmentalpolicieswithappropriatebehavior,dress,attitude,attendance,confidentiality,professionalism,andreliability.Promotesstaffgrowth,development,andemployeeengagementbycollaboratingwithmanagement,coworkers,andphysicianstocreateanoptimalworkenvironment.Promotesexceptionalphysiciansatisfactionbyprovidingmeaningfulassistancetoradiologistsandreferringphysicians.Performsalldutiesinamannerthatprotectstheconfidentialityofpatientsanddoesnotsolicitordiscloseanyconfidentialinformationunlessitisnecessaryintheperformanceofassignedjobduties.Appropriatelyadaptassignedpatientassessment,treatment,and/orcaremethodstoaccommodatetheuniquephysical,psychosocial,cultural,spiritual,age-specific,andotherdevelopmentalneedsofeachpatientserved.Ensurescompliancewithallpolicies,procedures,andstandardsofcareasdeemedappropriatebyStateandFederalagencies,thehospital,andotherregulatoryentities.Performsexaminations/proceduresasneededtoassistinpatientthroughputwithinthescopeoftheManager slicense(s),certification(s),and/ordocumentedcompetencies.Demonstratesflexibilitybyworkingothershiftsandatothercampusesasneededorrequired.EnsurescompletedexamsarescannedandstoredcorrectlyinPACS.AbilitytofollowPACSdowntimeproceduresasaPACSSuperuserandescalateanyproblem(s)orissue(s)tothePACSadministratororDesigneeifneeded.TroubleshootsandreportsanyequipmentmalfunctionstotheDirector/Managerand/orBiomedicalpersonnel;doesappropriatefollow-up.Performsotherdutiesasassigned.JobRequirements:Education/SkillsGraduateofanaccreditedschoolofRadiologyTechnologyorotheracceptedandapprovedequivalentrequiredExperience1yearofexperienceinahospitalorClinicalsettingpreferredBasiccomputerexperiencerequiredLicenses,Registrations,orCertificationsMagneticResonanceImaging(MR)fromARRTorARMRITisrequiredStateLicensurerequiredifinNewMexicoMRTbyMIRTPNMEDBLSrequired (AHA only)WorkSchedule:DayShift,MondaythruThursday,7A-530PWorkType:FullTime General CommentsDirectReport/HiringmanagerisLarryMoore(View email address on click.appcast.io) No. of Positions: 1/1.
