This position involves providing specialized critical care to ICU COVID-19 patients within a Level II Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center. The role requires positive attitude, teamwork, and familiarity with advanced ventilator and cardiac management protocols. Job Details Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; TNCC a plus. Education Requirements: Not specified. Location: Alexandria, Louisiana. Years of Experience: 0.0 years minimum. Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, cardiac, neuro, and respiratory assessments, and procedures such as intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain management, IABP management, CRRT, and proning of patients. Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients, exhibit flexibility, teamwork, and excellent communication skills. Proper PPE donning and doffing, along with the use of advanced hospital equipment such as ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, balloon pumps, and glucometers, are essential.
