We are seeking a skilled Hair Stylist to join our team, specializing in children's haircuts and styling. Utilizing scissors and electric clippers, the stylist will provide personalized consultations and creative hairstyling while maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer care. Our salon offers a supportive environment with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, excellent tips, and a comprehensive benefits package including a 401K plan.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences
- Perform hair cutting and styling using scissors and electric clippers
- Maintain hygiene and sanitization of tools and work area
- Recommend hair care products tailored to children's needs
- Manage appointment scheduling through digital software and mobile app
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- Promote salon sales and services effectively
Required Qualifications
- Cosmetology certification or diploma
- State cosmetology license
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of hair styling experience
- Proficiency in hair cutting techniques and blow drying
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Effective time management
- Experience with braiding
