Finance Manager

Role - Finance Lead Dates: Immediate start (December onwards) for an initial period of 6 months Rate: Hourly day rate of £69.09 Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Hybrid working: 2 days required in the office per week (base being Kingfisher House, Huntingdon) Department and Directorate: Leading the Financial Accounts and Income team, with a focus on covering the Assistant Director of Finance role. Responsibilities include ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet, overseeing payroll, payments, receivables, SBS transactions, financial close, board reporting, NHSE submission, and year-end accounts. The role also ensures continuity during year-end and the annual audit process. Job Description/Duties Resolution of payroll issues Completion of Charity review currently being carried out by Trust auditors (Azets) Daily oversight of outsourced Operational Financial Services to NHS SBS; setup and payment of suppliers, transactional procurement (requisitions and purchase orders), payroll, and treasury management Ensuring compliance in producing statutory returns such as month and year-end accounts, charity accounting, and VAT returns Supporting trust-wide financial planning of the balance sheet and cash flow Maintaining the integrity of the trust's financial reporting system to support accurate recording of the financial position Debt collection from salary overpayments Budget holder training in financial management areas like cash management, debtors, and capital expenditure Financial reconciliations and provision of financial information, including advising on VAT, capital, and lease accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr RGH-Global Ltd
