Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated women's services team in Lubbock, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor and delivery process.
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during deliveries and obstetric procedures.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
Educate patients and families regarding childbirth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Respond appropriately to obstetrical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.

Required Qualifications

Active Texas RN License or Compact State RN License .
Current BLS Certification .
Current ACLS Certification .
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification .
Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
