Schneider Deli - River North
Schneider Deli is looking for someone dependable, organized, and fast-paced to join our team. This position will work between both the food making and front counter clerk, helping execute deli sandwiches, hot food items, and daily prep while keeping quality and consistency high during service.
We’re looking for someone who works well under pressure, communicates clearly, and takes pride in putting out great food.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assemble sandwiches accurately and efficiently during service
Work the hot line preparing and plating hot menu items
Follow recipes and portion standards consistently
Assist with prep including slicing, portioning, sauces, and station setup
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shifts
Restock stations and keep pars filled during service
Work closely with the front and back of house teams to keep service moving smoothly
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Help with opening and closing duties
Minimum 2 years kitchen experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and punctual
Interest in deli food and willingness to learn menu details and techniques
Full-time and part-time positions available
Weekend availability required
