Job Description Internal Job Title: IT Project Manager JobType: Permanent, Full-Time JobLocation: 350 Stinson Drive, Danville VA Work Model: Remote (Preference for reasonable proximity to Virginia, North/South Carolina, New York or Wisconsin) Position Summary As a Project Manager in our North American Service Delivery group, you will be responsible for ensuring thein-scope,on-time,andon-budget delivery of suite of identification system solutions for State government customers in the United States.. Responsibilities Project Initiation Defining Scope: Work with stakeholders to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Resource Allocation: Determine the resources (time, money, personnel) needed for the project and allocate them accordingly. Timeline Creation: Develop a detailed project timeline, including milestones and deadlines. Original Budget Creation: Set-up the original budget for the project for each labour and expense category. Budget Management Cost Forecasting: Forecast the costs for each labour and expense category as the project unfolds. Budget Tracking: Monitor the project’s financial performance, ensuring that spending stays within the approved budget. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports to keep stakeholders informed about the project’s budget status. Schedule Management Baseline Schedule Creation: Create the Baseline schedule for the project aligned with the initial budget Schedule Tracking: Maintain and update the schedule by updating the actual and planned start and end dates of each activity, with a focus to ensure timely delivery Milestone reporting: Report schedule progress, based on milestones relative to the baseline. Stakeholder Communication Regular Updates: Provide regular updates to stakeholders through meetings, emails, and reports. Feedback Incorporation: Gather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the project plan as needed. Conflict Resolution: Address any conflicts or issues that arise among stakeholders to keep the project on track. Risk Management Risk Identification: Identify potential risks that could impact the project’s success. Risk Mitigation: Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks, such as contingency plans. Risk Monitoring: Continuously monitor risks throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary. Team Coordination Task Delegation: Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard. Team Support: Provide support and guidance to team members, helping to resolve any issues that arise. Progress Reporting Data Collection: Collect data on project performance, such as task completion rates and quality metrics. Analysis: Analyze the data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress and present them to stakeholders. Various other duties and responsibilities. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements Legally eligible to work in the United States Fluentin English (speak, read, write) Ability to travelapprox. 4-12 weeks/year Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology(or similar)or Businessoran equivalent combination ofrelevanteducation and additional years of work experience Knowledge of the following: IT systems (infrastructure/applications and supporting technologies, methodologies, etc.) Project panning, scheduling and resource allocation Risk management and mitigation Budgeting and financial management Proficiency in Microsoft O365, Project, Jira 8+ years of experience managing complex, large scaleIT projects Critical thinking skills Interpersonal skills Adaptability Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master, ITIL, certifications Experience managing IT project in both the private and public sectors Business acumen Additional Information Equal Employment Opportunity Statement CBN STI an equal employment opportunity employer.
