We are seeking an experienced Human Resources & Recruiting Specialist to join a growing behavioral healthcare organization. This position will play an important role in supporting the organization’s people operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, and overall HR function.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on HR experience, preferably within a regulated healthcare environment . This is a highly collaborative role requiring someone who is comfortable balancing day-to-day HR responsibilities with recruiting and employee support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for clinical, operational, administrative, and leadership positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Support employee relations matters and serve as a resource for employees and managers.
• Assist with performance management, corrective action, and employee development processes.
• Support benefits administration, leave management, and other HR programs.
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies.
• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Track recruiting and HR metrics and provide reporting as needed.
• Work closely with leadership to support workforce planning, retention initiatives, and organizational growth.
• Promote a positive, professional, and employee-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or People Operations .
• Experience within behavioral healthcare, substance use treatment, mental health, healthcare, or a related environment is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple recruiting searches simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, or other HR technology platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization where priorities may evolve.
• Ability to build effective relationships with employees, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
