Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed. Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
