As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and managing visitor and vehicle activity. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.77 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, coordinate with shipping and receiving personnel, and help maintain orderly traffic flow at gates and loading areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
