Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Duration: 18 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Requirements: \n \n Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable) \n BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy \n BLS and ACLS certification required \n CCRN certification preferred \n 1 years of ICU/critical care experience required \n Experience with critical care equipment (ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, titratable drips) \n \n Duties: \n \n Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and support \n Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed \n Administer medications, including titratable vasoactive and sedation drips, per physician orders \n Manage and monitor advanced life support equipment (ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, hemodynamic monitors) \n Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team on plan of care \n Perform rapid response and code interventions as needed \n Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plan, and care needs \n Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient response in the EMR \n Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios per acuity and facility staffing guidelines \n Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed for high-acuity patients \n \n \n BHS Workforce Job ID 37917110.
