Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking professional, reliable, and efficient candidates for an entry-level Sheet Metal Worker position with an established local Manufacturing and Distributing Company. This position will pay $16.00 per hour and the scheduled hours are from 7:00 A.M.- 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.


Responsibilities:

• Fabricating rolls of metal into sheets
• Utilize a tape measure accurately
• Utilize hand tools such as snipers, grinder and drill
• Demonstrate knowledge of angles and degrees
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all health and safety policy requirements of the company
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and understand the fabrication process to advance in position and grow with the product line
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing on a concrete surface for the duration of the shift
• Capable of working in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of working in a safe manner
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Close-toed shoes/boots
• Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines
