School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Los Angeles, California

Qualifications & Preferred Background Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Previous school‑based experience is a plus, but not required Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and students Excellent organizational skills and attention to documentation Commitment to supporting diverse student populations Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions, both one‑on‑one and in groups Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate updates with faculty and families Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate language goals into daily curriculumFacilitate professional development or provide resources to staff as needed This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic setting that values creativity and growth.
