About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Physician for a 60-day assignment in DC, starting Oct 5, 2026. This full-time position requires clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, focusing on a range of essential GI procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide full-time clinic coverage
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
• Perform small bowel biopsy
• Perform lower GI endoscopy
• Perform flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Perform colonoscopy with biopsy
• Perform colonoscopy with excision of polyp

Additional Information

• Required Board Certification: Gastroenterology
• EMR: Epic
• EUS and ERCP procedures are not required for this role
• Most procedures are performed with moderate sedation
