Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 09/28/2026 for a 16-week travel assignment in a hospital-level ED setting. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week with a pay range of $2,297 to $2,479 per week. Shifts are 12-hour evening blocks (14:30–03:00), with block scheduling noted but not guaranteed. This assignment requires ED experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and active New York RN licensure, current certifications, and EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department for patients across the lifespan, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, ongoing monitoring, and documentation; administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Interpret and respond to changes in patient conditions; support resuscitation and stabilization efforts as appropriate
- Assist with procedures and patient transport; collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff
- Utilize ED resources and equipment (for example, rapid infusor, Arctic Sun) and document care in the EPIC EMR
- Coordinate with the care team for admissions, discharges, and transfers; participate in debriefings and quality improvement activities

Requirements
- Active New York Registered Professional Nurse license; NURSYS license verification with ACTIVE NY license and all RN licenses; RTO must be included at submission
- Certifications in hand: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years ED experience; some pediatric exposure preferred; travel experience required
- EPIC EMR experience
- Valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- Ability to work in a high-volume ED environment and to float as needed
