Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Operations Associate to support warehouse and distribution operations within a manufacturing environment. This role involves material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory management, forklift operation, and order fulfillment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and distribute materials accurately to production areas.
• Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, including medium and large-pack orders.
• Build and pack wooden crates and overpack boxes as required.
• Load customer shipments onto trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete production, inventory, and quality documentation accurately.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all company safety procedures and Quality Management System requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
• Ability to operate a computer for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with picking and packing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift operating experience.
• Previous manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.

Physical Requirements

• Must wear required PPE, including:
• • Steel-toe boots
  • Safety glasses
  • Protective gloves
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, and working around industrial equipment.
• Ability to lift:
• • Up to 35 lbs independently
  • Up to 75 lbs with assistance
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and occasional exposure to industrial fumes and by-products.
