Job Description
Title: Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

Schedule: Nights, Part Time (2-12 hour shifts per week, varied)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 143 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week

Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field (Required)
- Must maintain license as a Respiratory Therapist (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
- NRP Certification (Highly Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
- Manage ventilator and BiPap/CPAP equipment.
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
- Administer medications via nebulizer and metered dose inhaler.
- Collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary team in providing acute and critical care as prescribed.
- Train and act as a resource for other members of the Respiratory Therapy Department.
