The Services Social Marketing team is looking for a Senior Owned Social Strategist to bring to life the organic social marketing strategy and program across multiple businesses, covering owned and operated channels as well as collaborating with partner channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and culture, has experience managing cross-functional projects and leading a team, and knows how to effectively leverage social to tell impactful stories and cultivate an engaged audience. Description Develop culture-forward social strategies, campaigns, and programs that feed into Apple Pay, Apple Cash, App Store & Apple Arcade owned social channels Push creative boundaries across emerging and established social platforms, developing bold, format-first content, such as vertical series that adapts to evolving social media audience behaviors. Proven track record of pioneering cutting edge and innovative social formats and creative campaigns that sets new industry benchmarks. Lead an engaged a team of Social Marketing Strategists across multiple lines of business Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute integrated programming and campaigns on social, including business teams, strategy, editorial, creatives, paid, and earned Lead cross- functional programming efforts to sharpen the social expertise of our marketing partners. Demonstrate thought leadership and perspective among key stakeholders Hands‑on support for programming and publishing, as needed, across owned social channels (available nights and weekends when relevant) Develop and manage social agency partnerships Minimum Qualifications 8+ years experience in digital/social marketing in the social media space 4+ years managing agencies, vendors, and / or a team Experience working directly with creators, artists, and other external partners to collaborate on social marketing efforts Ability to understand and use data to inform strategic decisions, including audience insights, platform trends, content performance benchmarks, social listening, etc. Experience working in a multifaceted environment Excellent storytelling and presentation skills Ability to work nimbly and navigate ambiguity with confidence Strong leadership and negotiation skills Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously Experience working with high‑profile talent on high‑stakes projects Preferred Qualifications Futuristic thinker and creative problem-solver to ensure Apple Services are uniquely ahead of the curve, cementing a position as a leader in innovative social media storytelling A team leader with a proven track record of providing support and guidance for a team with a high volume of social output Confident in educating and highlighting the wins and hurdles of the team to cross‑functional senior leadership Tuned in to cultural trends and conversations in finance, tech and gaming Understanding of media, technology, and the ever‑changing landscape of social platforms, audiences, and behaviors Collaborative and team‑oriented approach resulting in shared success Demonstrates professionalism and work ethic with the ability to set boundaries Excellent communicator and collaborator, pitching new ideas and gaining buy‑in across multiple teams and leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr Apple
