Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for ICU Registered Nurses!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic ICU team as a Registered Nurse working 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required, and first-timers are welcomed!
- Weekend availability is a must.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
- You'll get the chance to float as needed within the facility.
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required (exemptions allowed).


Skills & Experience:


- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
- Patient Ratio Experience: 2:1.
- Charting System Experience: Required (EPIC).
- Travel experience required.


Key Skills:


- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Arterial line and central line management.
- Management of continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips.
- Expertise in BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients.
- Proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs).
- Strong in isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Unit Details:


- Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams.
- Common patient diagnoses: GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, cardiac & respiratory arrest, and acute strokes.


Additional Requirements:


- Keep requests for time off to a minimum, preferably no requests within the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Must possess an active SC license at the time of submission.
- Two supervisory references required.
