Details Work in the Emergency Services department of a hospital setting Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 13-week assignment length Delivers direct patient care to emergency department patients across the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel Requirements Active GA or compact RN license Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred BVP (MAB) Workplace Violence Prevention training required COVID vaccination/boosters preferred Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting of child/adult abuse Additional Information Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Accepts local candidates American Traveler Job ID P-714125.
