Sr. Fraud Analyst

This position exists to provide support to a dedicated federal government customer in the role of Sr. Fraud Analyst. The analyst will provide support and enhance investigations in the evaluation of threats, critical incidents, and criminal research. The analyst will use fact-finding methods and analysis to collect information to support investigations. They will research and gather information, screen all sources of information obtained, conduct further queries, and access and summarize evaluated and previously unevaluated information. This analyst will bridge the gap between customer requirements and production outcome as a subject matter expert on LexisNexis Risk solutions within the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). The Public Safety SIU is comprised of former law enforcement experts who leverage the LexisNexis solutions and data offerings to provide real-time investigative insight for LexisNexis customers. This position also serves to work with the sales team by analyzing data and monitory production, building practices, procedures and support functions required to maintain the quality and timely delivery of information. This is hybrid position, office-based role in Washington, DC.Responsibilities:Design and implement methods to gather, analyze and continually assess risk with the objective of helping government entities solve problemsLooks for and identifies key crime trends in data analyzedProvide analytical insights to customer from proactive data analysisAnalysis of data provided by customer to identify crime and provide insight into crime solutions and customer workflow analysisWorks directly with customers to support crime solution product understanding, implementation, and best practicesMaintain positive customer relationship though detailed analysis of potentially large data sets over lifecycle of contractRepresents LexisNexis Risk Solutions at customer facing events and with customersProvides insight and input to other business groups on presentations to customers on analysis of crime dataProvides innovative ideas on product improvements and enhancements to manager for incorporation into new and existing productsCommunicate complex processes in a simple, easy to understand mannerExchange information and intelligence with other governmental agenciesResearches and resolves quality control issues as discovered or assignedPrepare/provide input on customer-facing presentations and deliverablesOperate professionally and effectively, often without direct supervision, while conducting high-quality analysis,Actively participates in product testing for LexisNexis to include the current suite of products, new products being brought to market, training content and other materials.Assists with LexisNexis Risk Solutions Marketing WebinarsOther duties as assigned, but not limited to analysis of call detail record data provided by customer, and etc.Qualifications BA or Higher4+ years’ experience in Law EnforcementSelf-motivated and dynamicDemonstrated competence in application of logic to problems Demonstrated competence in research and problem resolution Strong organizational, prioritizing and time management skillsStrong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsExperience in managing large customer facing solutions Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite to include Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, along with other analytical solutionsExperience with i2 Analyst Notebook, PowerBI, and ESRI a plusPreferred experience in LexisNexis Risk Solutions and ZetX suite of solutionsAbility to work in a team setting and independentlyAbility to Travel – 30%We are an equal opportunity employer: qualified applicants are considered for and treated during employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, protected veteran status, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
