Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide emergency nursing care including management of critical and emergency infusions such as pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in required holiday coverage, including 1–2 of the designated summer holidays

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous Emergency Room nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
• Active Iowa and/or Illinois RN state license
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications required
• Valid driver's license, updated work history/resume, skills checklist completed within the past year, one supervisory reference, and copies of all required certifications required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma center environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity emergency patients independently
