The Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency (DMC EDA) is the staff that assists the DMCC in planning and executing the DMC Development Plan (a visionary 20-year plan that started in 2015) and adopted strategies for economic development in Rochester, MN. The DMC EDA consists of an experienced team of professionals who execute a comprehensive strategy to steward $585 million of public investment and leverage that investment with the goal of attracting over $5 billion in private investment to the market. This position serves as the operational backbone of the Discovery Square business development strategy. The Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst supports Innovation Attraction, Ecosystem Partnerships, and Talent & Workforce Development through the development and management of systems, business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and operational processes that enable successful execution of DMC's business development initiatives. The position serves as the primary administrator of DMC's CRM and relationship intelligence platform and is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, operational effectiveness, and ecosystem performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a domain-relevant field such as business, economics, data analytics, statistics, information systems, computer science, or a related analytical field. Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience. Experience working with CRM platforms, databases, reporting tools, or business intelligence systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude. Excellent organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of DMC EDA employees and external stakeholders. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data quality and Responsibilities Business Intelligence & Market Research Conduct company, industry, and ecosystem research. Support lead generation activities. Develop ecosystem intelligence reports. Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities. Support company attraction and partnership development efforts. CRM & Relationship Intelligence Management Maintain CRM data quality and governance standards. Track ecosystem relationships and engagement activities. Monitor business development pipelines. Support relationship mapping and ecosystem analysis. Maintain reporting systems and dashboards. Performance Measurement & Analytics Develop KPI tracking systems. Produce reports for leadership and stakeholders. Analyze business development performance. Monitor ecosystem metrics and outcomes. Support annual planning and strategic reviews. Operational Coordination & Process Improvement Support team coordination and workflow management. Develop operational processes and documentation. Improve data collection and reporting systems.
