Job Summary As a General Manager at the Baltimore Convention Center, you are responsible for maintaining a balance between floor supervision, administration, team member training and mentoring, and hosting/communicating with groups. Strive to exceed guest expectations while executing "The Levy Difference". Key Responsibilities Lead banquet and event operations, ensuring efficient set‑up, service, and breakdown. Maintain high standards for guest service, food quality, safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance. Build strong relationships with clients, guests, team members, and venue partners. Manage labor, inventory, budgets, scheduling, forecasting, and operational reporting. Ensure proper use of company systems and adherence to company policies and procedures. Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and team members. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on accountability and performance. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, food service, retail, or event operations. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred. Strong financial acumen and understanding of labor and cost controls. Proficiency with business and operational technology systems.
