Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative South Shores Pet Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $20-22 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Full-time Benefits Package*: Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401k - with company match beginning 2027 Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law *Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum qualifications and skill set: 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred Proficiency in the following skills: Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods Located in San Pedro, California , just a stone’s throw from Cabrillo Beach and the Korean Bell of Friendship, South Shores Pet Clinic is proud to be a cornerstone of the local community.
