CNC Lathe Operator--PRPRA1

The BMT Aerospace division in the USA is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to independently set up and operate CNC lathes to meet precise tolerances and specifications. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to produce parts of varying complexity. Interpret computer‑generated setup sheets and blueprints to determine proper tooling, fixtures, feeds, etc. Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges) to inspect and verify part dimensions. Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor tool wear: replace tools and inserts as needed. Make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy. Cross‑train on various machines and processes to support team flexibility. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications 4–5 years of experience in precision CNC machining. Familiarity with Fanuc OI, Fanuc 21i, Haas, and Okuma controls is highly desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work overtime hours.
