CDL-A Dedicated Driver | Home Twice a Week | New Grads OK

Job Description

Job Description

Las Vegas drivers: $1,600 to $1,700 a week on a dedicated account, home twice a week.

Early-morning store deliveries on regional lanes between Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego and Utah. Paid on all loaded miles. New CDL grads are trained.

What you earn

• Paid every week during training
• $1,600 to $1,700 average per week
• $0.60 to $0.62 a mile by experience, paid on all loaded miles
• About 1,800 miles a week
• $100 unload pay per load, $25 per stop
• Weekly direct deposit

Your week

Store deliveries, mostly roll carts plus some loose boxes. Unloads take 1 to 2 hours per stop. Home twice a week and for your 34-hour reset. Weekend deliveries are rare.

What new drivers ask us

• "How often will I see home?" Twice a week, plus your 34-hour reset at home.
• "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
• "What if I have a problem on the road?" Loads are planned for you, and your driver leader picks up the phone.

What happens after you apply

A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid every week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average.

What you need

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older
• New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen

Benefits after 30 days

• Medical, dental, vision and prescription
• 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan
• Paid time off and yearly raises
• Free online degree for you and one family member
• Pet and rider programs (your dog can ride with you once training is done)
