About the Position

License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI Must-Have: - Strong skills and experience in Emergency Room settings - Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Description: The role involves providing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The average daily census is 130 patients, with a variety of diagnoses and complexities. This position may require floating within the specialty as needed. Candidates will engage with a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. Critical skills include management of ventilated patients, drug overdose cases, and procedural sedation monitoring. Nurses must be proficient in phlebotomy, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and obtaining 12 lead EKGs. The emergency department will encounter various scenarios, from trauma to acute psychosis. It is essential to have experience with emergency medications and management of multisystem organ dysfunction.
