Technology Staffing Recruiting Services Account Manager / Recruiter - Virtual SouthTek Resources is a full‑service tactical headhunting firm specializing in defense, aerospace, technology, manufacturing, security, and private equity markets. We are expanding our sales and recruiting teams and hiring Technical Staffing Account Managers in the Austin, TX metro area due to significant growth throughout the Mid‑Atlantic. Our ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a “hunter” personality, comfortable building lasting relationships and operating with minimal supervision. We recruit virtually across hot markets and seek a confident recruiter who can build a book of billable clients and/or placeable candidates from scratch. Key Points to Know First: This role is a 1099 contract hire, remote, with full commission (50/50 split). We provide a LinkedIn Recruiter account, robust database/ATS, corporate email, CRM, intranet resources, training classes, job board accounts, branding, invoicing, legal, and more. You handle your own home office expenses and taxes. Daily communication is via Ring Central, Skype, or Google Hangouts. Collaboration with the team is expected. Our Recruiting Team focuses on the following areas: Project Managers – Business Analysts ERP Applications – Database Administrators Technical Writers – Network Architects and Administrators Software QA – Systems Architects Application Developers – Web Developers Data Warehousing – Business Intelligence IT Auditors – Network Engineers Software Programmers – Programmer Analysts Mobile Application Developers – Help Desk/Desktop Support Big Data and Analytics – Cloud and Virtualization DevOps and Automation – Microelectronics and Hardware Enterprise Application Integration – Security‑related Technology And many more! Responsibilities: Work directly with existing and new clients to maintain and develop long‑term business partnerships. Present contract, contract‑to‑hire, and permanent placement services to companies in the local marketplace. Use a consultative sales approach with C‑level executives, middle management, and HR. Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers in IT leadership, recruiting, and HR across all industries. Conduct meetings to understand human capital challenges and recommend solutions. Follow up with prospects via CRM, phone, email, and in‑person meetings; populate the CRM and ATS accordingly. Build synergy within the team and develop a personal referral network. Partner with the staffing/recruiting team to ensure superior service to clients. Qualifications: Successful sales experience selling a service, preferably in the staffing industry. Track record of achieving targeted objectives. Strong sales mentality with understanding of the sales lifecycle from sourcing to closing. Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, sound business judgment. Outstanding telephone presence, superior written communication, team player, natural leader, competitive, savvy with social media, strong attention to detail, highly organized, highly energetic, positive, persistent, self‑starter. Strong negotiating and cold‑calling experience. Ability to work from a remote office. Bachelor’s degree required. Benefits: 50/50 commission split. Potential equity stake for the right candidate.
