Location: Longfellow Hotel, Portland ME
Schedule: Part-Time 
Shift: 6AM – 3PM MTW
Pay Rate: $21-23/hour

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary team! This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. You'll help us provide high-quality breakfast and lunch service to our guests, maintaining high standards for food preparation, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook daily menus according to established recipes and standards

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service begins

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations

• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

• Adapt to special requests with flexibility and attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred, especially in breakfast/brunch service

• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
