Travel Radiation Therapist PositionThis Travel Radiation Therapist position in Reading, PA requires BLS from AHA, PA fingerprints, and experience with Varian equipment. You will administer radiation treatments according to the prescription authorized by the radiation oncologist. Responsibilities include obtaining images for planning and targeting, assessing patient condition prior to simulation and treatment, and providing ongoing patient education throughout the course of simulation and treatment. When assigned to CT simulation, you will create immobilization and treatment aid devices, operate a CT scanner and MED RAD power injector for IV contrast, obtain and analyze cross-sectional imaging for treatment planning, and perform blood draws as indicated.
