Title
Telemetry RN

Schedule
- Weekends: Required - 6 shifts per 6-week period
- Holiday requirement: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required
- Compact state nursing license in hand at time of submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and rhythm interpretation
- Proficiency in post-cardiac cath/post-MI care and monitoring
- Central/PICC/port care and peripheral IV management
- Tracheostomy care, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen therapy
- Blood product administration, phlebotomy
- Chest tube and drain management, wound care/WoundVAC
- Neuro/post-op neurosurgery care, seizure and intracranial bleed management
- Renal/hemodialysis pre/post care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
- Provide care for patients post-cardiac catheterization and myocardial infarction.
- Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as required.
- Perform wound care and manage drains and chest tubes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to rapid response situations and participate in code blue protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Dress code: solid navy blue uniforms/scrubs (no print tops except in specified pediatric areas)
- Parking: Free in employee/visitor surface lots
