School Behavior Technician | Up to $26/hr | Grass Valley, CA

Up to $26/hr | Monday-Friday | School-Based

Looking for a weekday role where you can work directly with students and build hands-on experience in behavior support? This school-based Behavior Technician opportunity in Grass Valley gives you the chance to support students throughout their school day while keeping your evenings and weekends free.

Depending on your assignment, you may work 1:1 with a student or support multiple students in a classroom setting.

What You'll Do

• Support students with behavioral, academic, and social goals
• Implement strategies outlined in IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior support plans
• Use positive reinforcement and other approved behavior-support techniques
• Provide 1:1, small-group, or classroom-based assistance
• Help students transition between activities and classroom settings
• Monitor behavior and collect data on student progress
• Assist BCBAs and school staff with observations and assessments
• Support students during classroom and non-classroom activities
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
• Assist with personal care when required, including toileting, diapering, and hygiene
• Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Prior ABA, behavioral health, childcare, or school-based experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to remain calm and follow behavior-support procedures during challenging situations
• Reliable transportation to assigned school sites
• Ability to meet assignment-specific physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting students as needed
