Responsibilities and Duties:

 

• Effectively diagnose, solve problems and maintain HVAC systems in both residential and commercial applications along with having a good understanding of indoor air quality products 
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, in residential or commercial establishments, to improve efficiency 
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
• Effectively explain solutions to customers regarding their needs, while ensuring complete customer gratification on every call
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Keep and maintain inventory in your service truck
• Keep truck, tools, and supplies organized
• Be on-call rotation with other technicians for after-hours calls 

Qualifications:

 

• Valid Driver's License
• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
• High School Education or Beyond
• EPA Certification
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
• Able to go into hot attic spaces, crawl spaces, stairs, etc.
• Outgoing and personable attitude with the willingness to learn and grow
• Team Player and Positive Attitude
