Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Travel experience is required. Description: CVICU experience is required. Attendance policy allows for one call out per contract. A second call out will require proper documentation and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Weekly orientation is available for travelers. The facility has 171 beds and is a community hospital as well as a regional referral center. It is a Certified Chest Pain Center and is designated as a Level III trauma facility. Local attractions include outdoor recreational activities such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. There are various local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries to explore. Beautiful mountain ranges complement serene lake scenery in the area. The location is conveniently close to several major cities. Unit Information: The unit comprises 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment includes Baxter pumps. Electronic health records are managed via Medhost. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common Diagnoses/Treatments: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. Personality fit assessment is also part of the hiring profile. Dress code requires scrub color to be any. Unacceptable attire will be addressed.
