Banquet Server

We have a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our events team. Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch boasts its abilities to accommodate private events from 2-300 guests, and hosts events ranging from corporate meetings to a full wedding ceremony and reception. We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Banquet Servers to join our events team. As anBanquet Server, you will play a key role in providing seamless service for events held at Farmstead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with a team that values professionalism, hospitality, and excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up event space according to event specification Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor according to event specifications Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to hospitality and safety standards Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious service to guests throughout each event Collaborate with the kitchen and event management teams to ensure timely and coordinated service Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines Education, Experience and Required Skills Prior experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant service required A passion for food, wine, and hospitality Food Handler's certification and RBS certification required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by event schedule Must be at least 18 years of age Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations Must be able to lift, balance, and carry plates of food Must be able to lift cases of wine on a daily basis Must be able to use both hands to handle, grasp, move and control objects, tools and equipment operations Must be able to bend or twist body Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Compensation and Benefits Part-time hourly position Compensation: $28 per hour Retirement Savings (401k) includes generous company matching Apply Online: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
