AI Engineer

AI Engineer Position

Pay Range $50hr - $55hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in AI Engineer roles.
• Strong experience in Java-based enterprise application development.
• Hands-on expertise in integrating Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for system integrations and AI-powered services.
• Integrate Generative AI/LLM-based capabilities into enterprise applications and business processes.
• Develop and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for knowledge retrieval and contextual AI responses.
• Design AI orchestration workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration platforms.
• Engineer prompts and contextual workflows to improve LLM response quality and relevance.
• Implement robust AI response validation, guardrails, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Build intelligent solutions for transcript processing, summarization, content generation, and AI-assisted documentation creation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and automate workflow opportunities using AI technologies.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability of AI-enabled applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and best practice implementation.

Nice to Have:

• Experience delivering AI-powered enterprise solutions in Healthcare or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search technologies.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with business applications and workflow platforms.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services and AI infrastructure.

Skills:

• Backend Development: Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST API Development, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, API Integration & Development.
• Frontend Development: Angular (Preferred), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive UI Development.
• Generative AI & LLM Technologies: Generative AI Application Development, Azure OpenAI / OpenAI APIs, Prompt Engineering, AI Orchestration Frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Context Assembly and Knowledge Retrieval for LLMs, AI Response Validation & Guardrails, AI Workflow Integration, Transcript Processing and Summarization, AI-Assisted Documentation Generation.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Passion for emerging AI technologies and innovation.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills.
