RN Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery Part-time nights

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Part-Time) Bring your passion to Texas Health and contribute to a team that is Better + Together. Location & Hours Work location: Texas Health Ft. Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Part Time Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) for 24 hours/week, with weekend and holiday requirements and possible weekend call requirements. Department Highlights Self-scheduling that promotes work/life balance and opportunities for educational and career growth. Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. 18-bed LDR's, 5-bay OB/ED, 5 triage rooms, 3 OR suites. Average 275+ deliveries per month. Wide range of patients and plans of care – nitrous oxide, midwifery and high-risk patients. Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited nursing program or nursing diploma (required). BSN preferred. CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency (required). Registered Nurse (RN) license (required upon hire). One (1) year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program (required). One (1) year or more Labor & Delivery RN experience strongly preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly (required). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 90 days required. Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRPA) within 90 days required. Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) maintained annually, within 90 days required. Responsibilities Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Incorporate age‑specific safety and infection control measures into patient care. Initiate action to meet patient and significant others’ information needs. Maintain continuity of patient care across shifts, hospitals, and expedited out‑of‑hospital transfers.
