Ecolab is seeking a Chemist to execute technical laboratory activities in support of technical platform development. Assignments may require the development and selection of appropriate methods, tests and procedures. Develop innovative applications and extensions of existing or new products, processes, systems or methods having major importance to the business. Ensure that proprietary project innovations are protected with proper legal instruments (e.g. patents). Basic Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Chemistry, Biology or Biochemistry Sponsorship is not offered for this role Preferred Qualifications Experience applying principles of scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, analyze potential solutions, and draw valid conclusions Demonstrated success in working on complex, multi-function project teams Excellent people and team building skills, interacting with a wide range of individuals and grade levels. Strong presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate technical subject matter Ability to create innovative solutions toward key application issues for the business Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $66,100.00 - $99,200.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
