Empower Inclusion provides support to individuals with disabilities as they identify and pursue their employment-related goals. Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Job Coach at Empower Inclusion. The Job Coach will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals with disabilities in their employment journey. Day-to-day tasks may include:
- Visiting client work sites in-person to provide real-time, on-the-job support.
- Guide clients in recognizing and refining their job-related skills.
- Support clients with requesting accommodations and understanding their workplace responsibilities.
- Interact with client supervisors, managers, and coworkers to build natural supports.
- Support clients with receiving and responding to performance feedback
- Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to address the needs of clients
- Write and submit timely reports in compliance with company and state requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in job coaching and career counseling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide effective coaching and guidance
- Empathy and understanding of disabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and their support networks
- Experience in the disability services or social work field is a plus
- Reference check
- Criminal background check
- Drug test
Hours:
- 5-20 hours/week depending on availability
