Research Associate Job Req Id: 26971526 Location: Kowloon, Kowloon City, Hong Kong SAR Job Type: On-Site/Resident Posted: Jun. 22, 2026 Job Overview The Research Associate position is a developing professional role that involves independently handling most problems, applying analytical thinking and data analysis tools, and providing detailed judgment and recommendations to support business decisions. The role requires a solid understanding of industry standards, integration with other business areas, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. Responsibilities Review and process broker votes to be shared and consumed. Organise the product management team, including creation of presentations, marketing schedules, coordination of the marketing diary, product planning meetings, and diary management. Publish focus list notes and update and display the new focus list posters. Contribute to market data and subscriptions management for Equity Research. Collate, coordinate and organise Road Ahead conferences and stock steering meetings. Assist with year‑end scorecard preparation, result analysis, goals and training. Provide management information including variance analysis and month‑end reporting. Conduct expense management, including travel and entertainment pre‑approvals and client interaction spend pre‑approval (e.g., GLG, non‑network individuals). Manage and prepare committee quality reviews. Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and company policy, and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications MBA and/or CFA preferred. Existing knowledge of research or an external investment research division essential. History of working under tight deadlines and prioritising tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to interact and manage at all levels, manage large amounts of data and use internal Citi systems (advantageous but not essential). Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Secure and maintain applicable licences. Education Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience.
