We are seeking a friendly and professional Part Time Bartender to join our hotel bar team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment within a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards
• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately
• Ensure all drinks are served promptly and responsibly, adhering to food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
• Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote hotel amenities

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
• Familiarity with serving techniques and cocktail preparation is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing outstanding guest service.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (Monday - Thursday Evenings)
• Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service (21+)

Schedule: Part-time: Monday - Thursday Evening (3pm - 10pm)

Pay: $16.90/hr + tips
