Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer where you will be an integral part of creating concrete piping that lies beneath streets and manholes. This role requires the ability to read a tape measure and understand basic blueprints, ensuring precision in every task.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints accurately.
• Lift up to 50lbs as part of the assembly process.
• Assemble rebar to fit inside molds for concrete pipes.
• Use basic hand-eye coordination to handle hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Drag and move finished parts to the finishing area.
• Utilize hand sanders to finish dried concrete surfaces.

Essential Skills

• Concrete experience or construction background is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read tape measures and understand basic blueprints.
• Attention to detail and reliability in daily tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months to a year of experience in manufacturing, concrete, or construction.
• Willingness to assist throughout the facility.
• Mechanical assembly skills and familiarity with sheet metal work.

Work Environment

Work in a dusty and dirty manufacturing facility on 1st shift starting at 5am or 6am until the day's tasks are complete. Experience a supportive environment with 8-10 hour workdays, ensuring a balanced professional life.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
