Registered Nurse / RN ICU

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Owasso, OK. Responsibilities Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with BMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. Must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span, assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age‑specific needs. The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with BMC standards and Patient Care policies and procedures. Adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act. May delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications. Job Requirements Associate of Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing. BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 14 days of hire.
