Your future role at a glance Location: Baltimore, MD Facility: St. Agnes Healthcare Department: Cardiology Schedule: Days l Full-time | M-F 8a-4:30p Salary: $45.83-$63.88 per hour How you’ll make an impact in this role DiagnosticImaging: Perform complex transthoracic and stress echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac structures, valvular function, and hemodynamics. EquipmentOptimization: Calibrate and adjust ultrasound system settings (gain, depth, compression) and manually manipulate transducers to capture high‑resolution diagnostic images. ProtocolAdherence: Position patients accurately and select specific anatomic/technical parameters to meet established diagnostic protocols. EnvironmentalStewardship: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of specialized procedure rooms, ensuring all sterile supplies and ultrasound gels are stocked and within expiration. What minimum qualifications you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transferdate. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transferdate. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted. Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
